Trade Support/Operations Role at OCR Alpha

OCR Alpha, a leading quantitative hedge fund, is seeking a highly skilled Trade Support/Operations professional to join their team. As a key member of the Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of trades and maintaining the highest level of operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide trade support and coordination across multiple asset classes
  • Collaborate with trading and risk teams to ensure accurate and timely trade execution
  • Develop and maintain automated processes using SQL and VBA to streamline operations
  • Contribute to the development of internal processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background in Economics, Maths, Physics, Finance, or related field from a top University
  • Experience in the finance industry, preferably in a hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank, or brokerage
  • Basic skills in SQL and VBA, with a willingness to develop and expand these skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
