Key Responsibilities- Drive and operate ambulance vehicles to transport patients to and from medical appointments, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
- Provide exceptional patient care, including lifting and moving patients as needed, using specialized equipment and techniques to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the ambulance is roadworthy and report any defects or issues promptly.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge in patient care and transportation.
- Full manual UK driving license with no more than 3 points for speeding.
- Previous experience in a customer care role or patient-facing environment.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients as needed, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
