The Role: Shift Supervisor - Cheese Production

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our dynamic team at the Oswestry site. As a key member of the operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth production processes, maintaining high safety standards, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Implement Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety, health and safety, and environmental regulations.
Your Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of food manufacturing processes, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

  • Proven experience in managing teams within a production environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
