Position Overview:

Our Water Technologies division is seeking a proficient Plastic Pipefitter to contribute to our ongoing projects. This role involves collaborating with a seasoned team to fabricate and shape piping systems and manifolds utilizing various tools and machinery safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to RSE's Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental management protocols.
  • Construct pipework based on client samples and/or engineering specifications to meet industry standards.
  • Perform maintenance and repair tasks on existing piping systems.
  • Design, assemble, fabricate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair piping systems for water, steam, chemicals, and fuel across various processes.
  • Utilize hand tools, machinery, and other equipment safely and effectively.
  • Support other departments as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of man-hours worked.
  • Execute additional tasks as required within the scope of expertise.
  • Opportunities to work in our fabrication workshop or as part of site installation teams across the UK.
Qualifications:
  • Fully qualified with experience in working with various plastics, including Polypropylene, Polyethylene, PVCU, and PVDF.
  • Familiarity with plastic fusion techniques, such as IR fusion, is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Preferred certifications include MSRA, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, and Asbestos awareness. Experience in Chemical Dosing is a plus.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
