· Discusses potential operational challenges with Rig Managers to enhance performance.

· Assists in evaluating the effectiveness of operations and collaborates with Rig Managers to initiate improvements.

· Supports the coordination of material orders and inventory management for rigs.

· Works alongside management to develop employee development initiatives, including certification programs and team-building activities.

· Collaborates with Rig Managers in monitoring and auditing monthly equipment performance reports.

· Partners with Business Development to provide exceptional customer support through site visits and follow-ups.

· Shares responsibilities with Rig Managers in coaching and addressing employee-related issues.

· Engages in technical discussions regarding operational troubleshooting with Rig and Operations Managers.

· Provides on-site assistance during rig relocations as directed by the Operations Manager.

· Aids Rig and Operations Managers in preparing capital and operational budgets.

· Remains updated on regulations affecting rig operations, including safety, labor, and environmental standards.

· Supports Rig Managers in ensuring compliance with these regulations.

· Acts as the Rig Manager during absences or vacations.

· Makes operational decisions that align with the strategic vision of Valaris.

· Demonstrates competencies expected of a Rig Manager to maintain or enhance asset performance in line with Valaris standards.

· Recommends and coordinates necessary activities for improvements, maintenance, and enhancements of assigned assets.

· Ensures compliance of fixed assets with regulatory standards through coordinated activities.

· Guarantees that fixed assets are maintained in accordance with Valaris and industry standards.

· Integrates Valaris Health, Safety, and Environmental standards into asset management decisions.

· Coordinates, monitors, and reports on assigned projects to ensure operational functionality meets defined scopes, timelines, and budgetary commitments.

· Maintains the physical integrity of assets, providing recommendations for enhancements to extend their useful life and improve marketability.

· Suggests asset improvements that enhance efficiency, marketability, and profitability during the planning phase.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

· A minimum of years in an operations management role within a similar business environment.

Skills & Experience:

· Familiarity with internal controls in accordance with COSO Standards.

· Proficient in data analysis and synthesis to ensure accuracy and adequacy in operational assessments.

· Proven leadership and influencing capabilities.

· Understanding of financial accounting, procurement, and management systems.

· Physically capable of being transported to offshore locations via boat or helicopter.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial functions, multiple worksheets, and macros.

· Working knowledge of document control systems and databases.
