Senior SOC Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SOC Analyst to join our 24x7 SOC team in Fleet, Hampshire. As a key member of our Cybersecurity Services Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the growth and development of our cybersecurity services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and coach junior analysts to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Develop new services and service improvements through project work, driving innovation and excellence in our cybersecurity services.
  • Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the SOC team, ensuring effective monitoring and handling of security events.
  • Conduct threat intelligence gathering to ensure detection methods are effective against current threats.
  • Monitor alert queues, respond to security alerts and incidents, and provide detailed intelligence reports.
  • Collaborate with the team to drive good conduct and deliver the best outcomes for customers and policyholders.
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of operating systems across Windows and Linux, as well as advanced networking experience.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to assess cyber risks and develop effective mitigation plans.
