About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Porter to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Porter, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality portering and security service to all departments, staff, patients, consultants, and visitors to the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing explanation of room facilities to patients
  • Assisting patients with luggage and escorting them to their rooms
  • Collection and franking of post
  • Parking of consultants' cars
  • Checking gauges and storage of gas bottles, changing them as necessary

Requirements:

  • Physically fit, able to lift heavy items when required
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • A full UK driver's license is essential
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
