As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the nursing team on Henderson ward, an acute adult mental health admission ward within Gartnavel Royal Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical nurse leadership and manage the nursing team to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
- Develop and implement complex programs of care using a strength-based recovery-focused approach.
- Monitor nursing activity and key performance indicators to ensure robust risk assessment and risk management.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary decision-making and contribute to the development of care plans.
- Support the service manager in leading professional, practice, and service improvements to ensure safe and effective person-centered care delivery.
- Experience in mental health nursing, preferably in an inpatient setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
