As an Early Years Education Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, mentoring, and supporting the training and assessment of apprentices in the Early Years Education sector.

You will work closely with employers and apprentices to identify gaps in skills and knowledge, develop individualized training plans, and maintain accurate records of candidate progress.

Delivering high-quality training, including functional skills, is a key aspect of this role, as is assessing skills and behaviors, providing feedback via the ePortfolio system.

You will also create tailored action plans for candidates, deliver workplace training, and provide tutorial support on various topics, including British Values, Prevent, and mental health.

Additionally, you will monitor candidate progress, support portfolio completion and assessments, and record and report on Additional Learning Support (ALS).

Collaboration with line managers for reviews and appraisals, as well as attending CPD, Standardization events, and company conferences, is also an essential part of this role.

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold an assessor qualification, a relevant degree, and an IV/IQA qualification.

Experience of working in Further Education or a similar environment, as well as Early Years Advanced Practitioner or Management experience, is also highly desirable.

You will also need to hold a qualification or have experience in the subject area, have up-to-date industry knowledge, and hold Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy qualifications.

A full driving license, own vehicle, and willingness to travel to customer sites are also required.
