About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Health and Wellbeing team at Blind Veterans UK. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our blind veterans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, engage, and inspire our Health and Wellbeing team to deliver excellent care and support
  • Plan, deliver, and manage high-quality person-centred care to our blind veterans
  • Share your skills, knowledge, and clinical expertise with your team, providing effective clinical supervision to those you line manage
  • Facilitate the safe admissions, stays, and discharges of our veterans and ensure consistently safe standards of practice
  • Work collaboratively with the Health and Wellbeing team to create a positive and solution-focused working culture
Requirements
  • Adult Level One Registered Nurse qualification
  • Experience working as a Registered Nurse
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety in relation to delivering care
  • Ability to work 37.5 hours across days and nights, including night shifts
