We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Charge Nurse to lead the Acute Medical Assessment Unit (AMAU) and Ambulatory Emergency Care (AEC) services in our hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional clinical leadership to ensure safe and effective clinical practice in AMAU and AEC.
- Contribute to the delivery of the organization's objectives and support the development of AMAU and AEC services to meet the needs of our patients.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes, enhance patient and staff experience, and reduce operational pressures in the Emergency Department.
- Develop and implement care pathways that maximize patient outcomes and support patient flow.
- Collaborate with primary and community care colleagues to maximize keeping patients in their own home environment.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess sound clinical knowledge, a wide range of clinical and managerial skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for leading and managing a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
