Job Title: Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing Fire Alarm Systems to the relevant industry standards, providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide excellent customer service to exceed the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers.
  2. Service Fire Alarm Systems, working safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and the loss of unused materials.
  3. Manage your time efficiently and prioritize jobs correctly.
  4. Complete Engineer work reports or checklists as appropriate.
Requirements:
  1. Experience within the Fire industry with knowledge of repair and maintenance of large systems.
  2. Expert knowledge in mainstream and top-end Fire, Gas, and Aspiration systems.
  3. Working knowledge of industry standards and a logical approach to troubleshooting, together with good computer skills.
  4. Previous experience working in a customer-facing environment.
  5. A full clean driving license.
  6. The ability to lift and climb ladders and be comfortable working at height.
Preferred Qualifications:

Hold current relevant qualifications to the industry, such as 18th edition/NVQ/City and Guilds/BTEC/FIA.
