Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of projects, from initial planning to implementation and delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure successful project execution within budget, on schedule, and in adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, procure, and implement a variety of projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget, on schedule, and in adherence to quality standards.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of projects, including project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution, including engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
  • Monitor and report on project budgets, ensuring accurate financial management and control.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring effective project delivery and implementation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the delivery of innovative and effective solutions.
Requirements
  • Senior level Project Management experience, with a proven track record of delivering multimillion-dollar projects.
  • Recognized formal project management qualification is desirable.
  • Minimum 2:1 engineering degree, preferably in chemical, mechanical, building, or electrical services, with Chartered Engineer status.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Management and Implementation, particularly covering energy centers and associated utilities.
  • Advanced IT skills in relation to Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as MS Project tools.
  • Mentoring and coaching skills, with the ability to implement the Project Delivery Approach.
  • Thought leadership, with a view to creating a viable Project Implementation service and supporting pragmatic delivery of projects.

They will be client-driven, enthusiastic about energy efficiency and renewable energy, and able to demonstrate good organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task, prioritize work under pressure, and complete tasks within deadlines. The job requires the willingness to travel across the UK.
