About the Role

We are seeking an experienced editorial lead to join our team as Editor - House Beautiful. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for planning and executing the content strategy for House Beautiful to support the brand's growth plans across all platforms and customer touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the brand's vision and goals.
  • Lead a team of editors and writers to create high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our audience.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and Editor-in-Chief to ensure a unified approach to content creation and production.
  • Manage the production process, ensuring timely delivery of content and adherence to quality standards.
  • Work closely with the Centre of Excellence team to ensure consistency and accuracy in content across all channels.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including licensing partners and external contractors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities to enhance the brand's content offerings.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced editorial lead with a proven track record in content creation and management. You will have a deep understanding of the homes and interiors market, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in editorial leadership roles, preferably in the magazine industry.
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, creation, and production processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, with a focus on quality and timeliness.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes.
