About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at Marston's PLC. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of food quality and presentation are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in the planning, preparation, and presentation of menus and dishes.
  • Oversee the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Be accountable for running the kitchen during service, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard and presented to the customer in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes, working closely with the Head Chef to ensure that they meet the company's quality and presentation standards.
  • Monitor and control kitchen costs, ensuring that they are within budget and that all resources are used efficiently.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and implement new kitchen procedures and systems, ensuring that they are effective and efficient.
