Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a talented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their support team to support BAU platform activities across a Windows cloud estate.

This is a busy and enjoyable role working with 8 other 3rd line Platform Engineers to support a productive IT estate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced 2nd and 3rd line IT support, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex issues
  • Work with Windows (or Linux) platforms, with a willingness to deepen knowledge in both
  • Manage patching processes using software like SCCM or Intune, and handle backup concepts and software
  • Use commercial Incident, Problem, and Change management tools
  • Demonstrable experience in 2nd or 3rd line IT support
  • Experience with Linux and/or Windows platforms
  • Experience with patch management software
  • Knowledge of backup concepts and software
  • Experience with Dell and HP server hardware
  • Experience with commercial incident, problem, and change management tools (BMC Remedy, Halo preferred)

This is a fixed duration of 12 months working PAYE.
