About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consulting Actuary to join our team at Gallagher. As a key member of our corporate consulting practice, you will play a significant role in developing new business opportunities and providing expert actuarial advice to corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement actuarial solutions for corporate clients, including pension scheme funding and reporting.
  • Provide expert advice on non-actuarial issues affecting pension schemes, such as legislative changes.
  • Prepare and present materials for new business pitches and client meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate time recording and charging to clients.
  • Attend client meetings, speak at marketing seminars, and peer review work as required.
Requirements
  • FIA/FFA qualified with substantial experience in actuarial consultancy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work to deadlines.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills, with a proactive and team-oriented approach.
