Unqualified Maths Teacher Role in a Thriving Barnet Secondary School

Ribbons & Reeves is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Maths Graduate to join our team as an Unqualified Maths Teacher in a reputable Barnet Secondary school. As an Unqualified Maths Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced Maths educators and contribute to the development of our students' mathematical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Maths department in delivering lessons to students in various classes, with a focus on GCSE and A-Level Maths.
  2. Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement engaging Maths lessons that cater to different learning styles.
  3. Provide individualized support to students who require additional help, including those with special educational needs.
  4. Contribute to the school's Teacher Training programme, with the opportunity to gain valuable experience and qualifications.
  5. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of Maths curriculum and resources.
Requirements:
  1. A 1st Class Maths Degree from a top UK University.
  2. High grades in Maths A-Level and GCSEs.
  3. Experience working with students, either through tutoring or teaching, is highly desirable.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
  5. A passion for Maths education and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
