Position Overview

At Ruby Energy, we are expanding our workforce and seeking a dedicated People Advisor to enhance our human resources team based in Fleetwood.

This role involves providing expert guidance and assistance to both management and staff on various personnel-related issues. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage HR-related documentation, including contracts, letters, and pension information.
  • Maintain an accurate and compliant HR database, including payroll and contact details.
  • Generate regular reports for the business group.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Handle joiner and leaver processes, including issuing ID cards and reference requests.
  • Document meeting minutes and records as necessary.
  • Participate in meetings related to grievances, performance, and disciplinary actions.
  • Analyze and report on statistical data and management information.
  • Support effective internal communication to keep all employees informed of developments.
  • Manage individual caseloads and assist the Head of People and People Director with additional tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills for interacting with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and demonstrated numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Experience in an administrative role within an office setting.
  • Professional and dependable approach to assigned duties, with the ability to provide timely feedback to managers.
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Preferred professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD Level 3 or working towards Level 5).
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4/5 or equivalent, including English and Maths.
