Fundraising Officer

Meningitis Now is seeking a skilled Fundraising Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of our community and events fundraising programme.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement successful marketing plans using a range of communication channels to engage with our supporters and drive fundraising efforts.
- Motivate and inspire others to support our cause, building strong relationships with our community and events teams.
- Manage and deliver exceptional supporter care, ensuring that our supporters feel valued and appreciated.
- Work collaboratively with our cross-organisational teams to achieve ambitious fundraising goals and targets.
- Produce a range of effective communications, including reports, updates, and promotional materials, to keep our supporters informed and engaged.
- Professional fundraising, marketing, or sales experience, preferably within a charity or non-profit organisation.
- Event and/or project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering successful events and projects.
- Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Strong administration skills, with the ability to plan, balance, and cope with competing priorities.
- Excellent written and telephone communication skills, with the ability to communicate with confidence and fluency.
- Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Professional marketing or fundraising qualification, such as the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.
- Experience of working with volunteers, with a proven track record of engaging and motivating volunteers to support our cause.
