Position Overview:
The role of a Casual Lifeguard at Fusion Lifestyle involves working on a flexible, zero-hour contract, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all users of the facility. Lifeguards are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in designated areas, setting up and dismantling various activities and events, and conducting pool safety tests as per established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Casual Lifeguard, your duties will include:
  • Engaging with the public to promote the use of facilities and encouraging repeat visits.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and providing exceptional service at all times.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the Centre.
  • Working flexible hours, including weekends, early mornings, late evenings, and bank holidays, as required by the business.

Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
  • A recognized UK pool lifeguard qualification.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and the ability to implement them effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of addressing pool users' behavior appropriately.
  • A high level of physical fitness.
  • The ability to deliver excellent customer service to a diverse clientele.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of customers and the business.
