Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Scrub Practitioner/ODP, you will be an essential member of a compassionate and professional team, guided by our experienced Theatre Manager.

Our primary focus is to ensure that patients receive high-quality, expert care promptly, in a clean and comfortable environment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of evidence-based practice for patient treatment.

You will advocate for patients during the intra-operative phase and oversee their total care throughout the perioperative process. Engaging in ordering, auditing, and reviewing processes within the department will be integral to your role, ensuring optimal patient care and adherence to best practices.

About Us

We seek a Registered NMC Nurse with theatre scrub experience or an HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner who possesses:

Expertise in working with orthopaedic, general, and/or ophthalmology teams Up-to-date knowledge of current research and advancements in theatre practices A solid understanding of Health and Safety/Risk management protocols within the operating environment

Essential Criteria

A Registered NMC Nurse with theatre scrub experience or an HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner Proven experience with orthopaedic, general, and/or ophthalmology teams Current knowledge of research and developments in theatre practices Strong understanding of Health and Safety/Risk management in the operating department
