£17 per hour
Shift Patterns: 07:30 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday 07:30-12:30 Friday

This inventory control professional plays a critical role in ensuring that the manufacturing process runs smoothly by managing inventory, tracking supplies, and maintaining an organised warehouse.

Brief description of responsibilities:
Managing a team of four logistics professionals.
Booking goods in and out.
Overseeing stock levels.
Supervise, train, and motivate a small logistics team, including warehouse staff and drivers.
Ensure adherence to company policies and performance standards.
Forklift truck driving - unloading containers on arrival.
Stock takes.
Planning the line feeding.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and distribution of goods.
Ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained, conduct regular audits, and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
Prepare and maintain reports on logistics to report into the senior management team.
Liaise and report into the transport office.
Address and resolve any issues related to deliveries, including delays, damages, or discrepancies, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

Requirements:
Must have an in-date Counterbalance Licence to be suitable for this role.
Must be computer literate - the company heavily use excel so this knowledge will be key.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
