We're seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Manager to join our client's team in Stoke-On-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading player in the cleantech industry, shaping the future of energy and contributing to a greener, more sustainable world.

About the Role

As the Project Health Safety and Environment Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the construction and installation of a 300MW grid-connected Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in the UK. You'll work closely with site personnel, coaching and advising them on the implementation of the client's Integrated Management System (IMS). Your key responsibilities will include leading environmental, health, and safety programs, ensuring compliance with industry guidelines and regulations.

Your Background

We're looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in safety management, particularly within the electricity transmission and distribution industry. You'll hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, an Internal Audit qualification (ISO 45001), and ideally be a Chartered or Certified Member of IOSH. Your expertise in safety management, combined with your passion for innovation and sustainability, will make you an excellent fit for this role.
