Production Operative Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Production Operative to join our team at The Work Shop.

About the Role:

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for working on various stages of production, operating machinery, and performing quality checks. You will also be involved in packing final products and working as part of a team or individually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery, including hand tools, and participate in training to run a Stone cutting bridge saw and CNC multi-machining centre.
  • Perform quality checks on work and pack final products.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, lifting and moving materials as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience in bench joinery, carpentry, stone masonry, or fine finishing.
  • Ability to work with a Stone CNC router, bridge saw, or willingness to learn and participate in programming and running the machine.
  • Reliable and hardworking, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative.
  • Good spoken English and a clean driving license are essential.
  • CSCS card and forklift license are desirable.
