Job Description

**About the Role**

SF Recruitment (Birmingham) is delighted to be working with a growing and highly acquisitive service business who are looking for a Tax Manager on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that is going through a period of further growth, which has resulted in the need for a tax specialist to join the company.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Reporting into the CFO, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining a robust tax function.
  • Developing and implementing tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Providing tax advice and guidance to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Managing tax relationships with external partners and advisors.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience in a tax management role, preferably in a service business.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, particularly in the UK.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
