Position: Cook Supervisor

Network Catering is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook Supervisor to oversee meal preparation and service at a primary educational institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering nutritious and high-quality meals to students, ensuring that culinary standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Catering Manager to design and implement meal menus.
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals for approximately 100 students.
  • Lead and mentor catering assistants during meal service.
  • Ensure the kitchen maintains high standards of cleanliness and adheres to food hygiene and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a culinary role.
  • Proven supervisory experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage kitchen operations.
  • Passion for culinary arts and nutrition.
  • Valid Food Hygiene certification.

As this position is within an educational setting, a DBS certificate will be required.

Compensation:
£14.50 per hour

Employment Type:
Permanent, Term-time

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
