We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Reinforced Recruitment. As a key member of our residential refurbishment team, you will be responsible for managing significant residential refurbishment projects across London.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established residential developer and builder, managing full top-to-bottom refurbishments, facade replacements, and fit-outs for both sale and rental. You will work closely with the new build team to ensure seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Manage residential refurbishment projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
- Quantity Surveying: Conduct site measurements, prepare and manage project budgets, and negotiate with contractors and suppliers.
- Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve project-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Post-graduate experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a quantity surveying or project management role, preferably within a main contractor.Facilities management experience: Experience working on facade packages and managing refurbishment projects.Strong communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.Technical skills: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with project management software.What We Offer:
