Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Drama Teacher to join our team at Timeplan Education Group Ltd. As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing outstanding teaching and learning to students in Plymouth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Learning: Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students, using proven methods and approaches to enable them to learn and develop their skills.
  • Class Tutoring: Provide pastoral support to students, ensuring their needs are met and establishing excellent relationships with them.
  • Pupil Engagement: Engage and motivate pupils to participate in lessons and activities, inspiring trust and confidence in them.
  • Teamwork: Build strong relationships with colleagues and work collaboratively to achieve common goals.
  • Safeguarding: Uphold all safeguarding procedures, including engaging in annual safeguarding training and induction training.

Person Specification:

  • Qualifications: Qualified teacher with a degree in Drama or a related subject.
  • Experience: Proven experience of teaching Drama to students in a school setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
