Overview
EDF is seeking experienced Safety Case professionals to join our Design Authority team. We are currently engaged in the development of the Pre-Construction Safety Report (PCSR) essential for advancing our nuclear construction projects.
As a key contributor, you will take on the role of lead verifier for the PCSR, ensuring comprehensive verification of the safety report by leveraging the expertise of various appointed verifiers. This position requires a seasoned safety case expert with a solid background in UK safety regulations and a proven track record of meeting the standards set by our regulatory body.
Key Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the verification process of the PCSR, ensuring all aspects are thoroughly assessed.
- Collaborating with multiple disciplines to uphold the integrity of the nuclear safety case throughout the project lifecycle.
- Providing technical leadership in addressing complex challenges that arise during construction and commissioning phases.
- Engaging with various stakeholders, including OEM designers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, to facilitate seamless project execution.
