Job Opportunity
The Manchester College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Achievement Tutor to join our Automotive Construction Engineering and Logistics Department on a permanent, full-time basis.
About the Role
As an Achievement Tutor, you will be responsible for managing allocated students and delivering a highly effective tutorial and pastoral programme. Your primary goal will be to ensure the overall academic, pastoral, social, and behavioural progress of students is tracked and supported, leading to outstanding retention, achievement, progress, and progression outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support students to achieve academic success
- Deliver a comprehensive tutorial and pastoral programme
- Monitor and track student progress
- Collaborate with the Head of Department and other staff members to ensure student success
Requirements
- Certificate of education or PGCE
- Current and valid industry specialism
- Assessor qualifications (if required by Awarding Organisation)
- Minimum Level 3 occupational qualification
- English and maths minimum level 2 Grade C or grade 4 and above
