We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Technician Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the development and production of our cutting-edge products.

About the Role

As a Manufacturing Technician Apprentice, you will be responsible for working within a structured training scheme designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills required to manufacture and test complex products in a fast-paced environment. You will learn core technician skills, problem-solving, and continuous improvement through a series of placements covering all aspects of manufacture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electromechanical assembly
  • Electro optic assembly
  • Electronic test
  • Optical test
  • Inspection

You will work closely with our team of in-house experts to develop your skills and become part of a huge community of apprentices working in Leonardo, throughout the UK.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a genuine interest and passion for engineering, enjoy solving technical issues, and have the ability to work with complicated build instructions and documentation. Previous experience with engineering processes such as soldering, additive manufacturing, welding, or other engineering processes is preferred but not essential.
