HGV Class 1 Transport Operator

In response to increasing customer requirements, we are looking for skilled HGV Class 1 Transport Operators to join our dynamic team.
Available Shifts:
HGV Class 1 Transport Operator: 4 on 4 off day shifts (Start times between 01:00 - 06:00)
Compensation:
£15.36 per hour, in addition to a weekly shift allowance of £40.00.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain vehicle compliance and road safety at all times, ensuring all daily inspections are conducted and any issues are reported promptly.
- Verify that the correct cargo is loaded securely before departing.
- Execute trunking and multi-drop deliveries efficiently and in accordance with legal regulations, including drivers' working time rules.
- Confirm deliveries with clients while ensuring a courteous and helpful interaction. Collect necessary signatures and documentation before returning to the depot.
What We Seek
- A holder of a C+E driving license, with a valid DigiTacho and CPC certification.
- Prior experience in Class 1 driving roles.
- Able to lift weights up to 18kg.
- Effective communication skills in English to collaborate with team members.
