Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Professional to join our small Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of accounting within our SME environment, working closely with the Accountant & Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process financial transactions and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements
  • Manage quarterly VAT returns
  • Conduct stock reconciliations and maintain inventory control
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Analyze variances and provide financial insights
  • Support the preparation of Management Accounts
  • Participate in year-end audit work
  • Provide financial guidance and support to staff
  • Undertake ad-hoc reporting and projects

Key Skills

  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Excel
  • Proficient in using computers and software applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a similar role is an advantage
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is beneficial
