General Manager - Heathrow Airport Operations

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of approximately 30 staff, comprising quality control, maintenance, and projects, business & administration, and HSSE & compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational integrity, product quality, and process safety.
  • Manage the development, growth, and continuous improvement of our operations.
  • Work closely with the board of directors to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including COMAH.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a strong track record of delivering high standards of performance in a techno-commercial environment. You will have experience working within the liquid fuels supply chain and/or managing a joint venture. Strong financial management capabilities and the ability to act on the P&L and Balance Sheet are essential.

You will also have demonstrable track records of end-to-end project management oversight, including supply chain, financial management, and quality of delivery. Effective performance in a high-profile industrial environment subject to oversight by regulatory bodies, auditors, and other stakeholders is required.

An assured communicator with proven stakeholder management experience is essential for this role.
