About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Signal Engineer to join our Consultancy Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of traffic engineering projects, covering design, traffic modelling, on-site surveys, validation, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop traffic signal systems and infrastructure
  • Conduct traffic modelling and analysis to optimize traffic flow
  • Perform on-site surveys and validation to ensure compliance with UK standards
  • Commission and test traffic signal systems to ensure smooth operation
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of traffic signal design fundamentals and UK standards/specifications
  • Experience with traffic engineering software, including AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with traffic signal products and industry systems such as UTC or UTMC
  • Practical experience with adaptive control strategies like SCOOT or MOVA
  • Experience with Factory and Site Acceptance Testing
