Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Slough, Berkshire

Salary / Benefits: £24k - £38k + Training + Benefits

Future Select, a leading Water Hygiene / Legionella management company, is seeking a skilled Water Hygiene Engineer to join our team. As a Water Hygiene Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out various L8 compliance duties, including water sampling, temperature monitoring, and TMV servicing & failsafe testing. You will work on Commercial, Industrial, and Educational sites, ensuring compliance with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.

The successful candidate will have good access to the M25 and surrounding areas, including Windsor, Reading, Bracknell, Woking, Guildford, Epsom, Kingston upon Thames, Reigate, Crawley, Horsham, Haslemere, Epsom, Croydon, High Wycombe, Oxford, Abington, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, Luton, Watford, Bletchley, and Brackley.

Requirements:
  1. Hands-on experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella Management company.
  2. Extensive knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  3. Good IT skills, able to update onsite logbooks.
  4. Good communication skills.
  5. Excellent time management skills.
The Role:
  1. Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
  2. TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
  3. CWST cleans and disinfections.
  4. Routine showerhead cleans and descales.
  5. Calorifier blowdowns.
  6. Closed system sampling & analysis.
  7. Dosing closed systems with correct chemicals.
  8. Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  9. Updating onsite logbooks accurately upon completion of work.
