Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commis Chef to join our team at Exclusive Hotels and Venues. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Demi and Chef de Partie in the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, ensuring exceptional standards are met.
  • Work closely with senior chefs to maintain food margins, adhere to recipe guidelines, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative menu designs, taking into account guest preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Monitor and control the quality of commodities used in food production, ensuring consistency and excellence.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest feedback and ensuring their dining experience is memorable.
  • Collaborate with the Chef de Partie to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, responding to changing kitchen demands and priorities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
