About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will play a key role in the implementation of a UK-first Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, spanning Acute, Mental Health, and Community services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design of the target operating model (TOM) to ensure the EPR system aligns with the strategic goals and operational requirements of both organisations.
  • Work closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders to gather insights, understand strategic priorities, and ensure the EPR system supports the Trust's long-term goals.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for the TOM, including strategic blueprints, process flows, and governance frameworks to guide post-implementation requirements and future evolution.

Requirements
  • Certification or substantial demonstrable working knowledge of an appropriate enterprise architecture methodology or framework.
  • Master's degree level in an IT, science, or engineering discipline or equivalent qualification by experience.
  • Experience of implementing projects in an OGC-governed environment (PRINCE2, MSP).
  • Substantial architectural solutions design experience within an organisation that uses a structured design methodology.
