The Role of Quality Engineer

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team in Bristol and Burgess Hill. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the preparation and execution of internal audits, assisting with root cause and corrective actions, and monitoring the quality of documentation and outputs generated throughout the project and product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the preparation and execution of internal audits within established engineering, manufacturing, and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards.
  • Assisting with root cause and corrective actions to address product and process non-conformities and compliance gaps.
  • Monitoring the quality of documentation and outputs generated throughout the project and product lifecycle to support acceptance.

Requirements

  • Education in Quality Assurance & Mechanical/Manufacturing.
  • Internal auditing or demonstrated extensive experience in Quality Assurance in an ISO9001/AS9100 environment.
  • Advanced experience in APQP and control plans.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
