Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Conservation Technician who enjoys outdoor work and is passionate about safeguarding and enhancing the local landscape.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

8am - 4:30pm

Compensation

£25,000 per year

Role Responsibilities
As part of our skilled team, you will engage in initiatives aimed at improving the ecosystem, conservation efforts, civil engineering, and access to the countryside.

Your responsibilities will include a variety of projects, from restoring historical river pathways to rehabilitating damaged wetlands and constructing pedestrian bridges.

We embrace new challenges, which means you will frequently adapt to diverse projects and acquire new skills and methodologies.

Our work takes place in sensitive environments, providing you with the chance to contribute significantly to conservation and the preservation of natural habitats.

  • Must hold a full, clean driving license
  • Comprehensive training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory):

  • Certifications for operating machinery (Excavator and dumper)
  • Experience with strimmers and chainsaws
  • Background in ecology and conservation
  • Understanding of construction and civil engineering
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Completion of a one-day first aid course.
