The Role: Graduate Industrial Designer

We're seeking a talented Graduate Industrial Designer to join our dynamic team in London. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our hardware and software solutions, collaborating closely with engineers and designers to bring innovative ideas to life.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and develop new product designs alongside cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize your technical expertise to prototype and refine designs, leveraging a range of tools and technologies.
  • Explore emerging design trends and materials to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Transform conceptual ideas into tangible prototypes, demonstrating their feasibility and functionality.
  • Conduct research and experiments to validate design concepts and inform decision-making processes.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in design technology and industry trends.
  • Participate actively in design reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance product concepts and prototypes.
  • Contribute to the documentation and communication of project progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate strong technical proficiency in design prototyping, including experience with CAD software, 3D printing, and fabrication techniques.
  • Exhibit a creative mindset with a passion for exploring new ideas and pushing the boundaries of innovation.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Be adaptable to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Present a compelling portfolio showcasing relevant projects that highlight your creative and technical capabilities.
