Financial Controller Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Financial Controller to join our team at Carnival Corporation and plc. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our reported financial results and statutory submissions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of business and efficiency-focused managers, as well as finance experts, to deliver advice and challenge to the business and ensure the right financial control culture and practices are maintained throughout the organization.
- Coordinate across Finance and the wider business to orchestrate the delivery of our financial reporting duties, capturing, maintaining, and reporting reliable and timely financial information, supported by insight.
- Lead the external auditor relationship and ensure alignment with financial reporting standards and group accounting policies.
- Manage organizational risk and compliance by leading Carnival UK relationships with external regulators.
We are looking for a talented and experienced professional who possesses a strong accounting qualification and excellent communication skills. You will be an effective leader and inspirer, able to motivate and guide a large team within an accounting or finance environment. Your technical accounting knowledge and ability to think critically will be essential in this role.
