At Steer Automotive Group, we prioritize excellence and innovation. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced automotive body repair technician to join our team as an Automotive Body Repair Specialist.

Role Overview

In this position, you will be tasked with the repair and replacement of body components on a range of damaged vehicles, including electric and hybrid models. Your work will adhere to BSI PAS 10125 and manufacturer standards, ensuring the highest quality of repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Restore damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition through the repair and replacement of body components.
  • Evaluate the most effective repair methods and utilize specialized body repair equipment to achieve optimal results.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, consistently following health and safety protocols.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience as a body repair technician or multiskilled technician within an accident repair environment, with knowledge of electric and hybrid vehicles.
  • Strong technical expertise in body repair techniques and equipment.
  • A meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively within a team as well as work independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to assess and repair damage efficiently.

Ideally, you will hold ATA/NVQ qualifications, and we are dedicated to supporting you in renewing these to further enhance your skills and expertise.
