Assistant Psychologist Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Assistant Psychologist to join our Rehabilitation and High Support (RHS) Care hub in Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in inpatient settings and contribute to promoting recovery-based approaches.
About the RoleThe Assistant Psychologist will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to service users with complex mental health needs. This will include attending multi-disciplinary meetings, clinical team meetings, and clinical discussion groups. The role will also involve assisting with service developments and contributing to the development of the care hub.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with psychological assessment, formulation, and individual and group intervention to service users with complex mental health needs.
- Attend multi-disciplinary meetings, clinical team meetings, and clinical discussion groups.
- Assist with service developments and contribute to the development of the care hub.
- A first or upper second-class honours degree in psychology.
- Entitlement to graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
- Experience of working with people within an inpatient setting and/or mental health rehabilitation settings.
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
