About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled EC&I Engineer to join our dynamic nuclear team in Warrington. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) systems within nuclear facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead EC&I System Design: Develop and implement EC&I systems for nuclear projects, adhering to regulatory standards and project requirements.
  2. Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with civil, mechanical, electrical, and process engineers to integrate EC&I solutions seamlessly within overall project frameworks.
  3. Conduct Feasibility Studies and Risk Assessments: Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and impact analyses to support decision-making processes.
  4. Manage Project Resources: Effectively manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve project milestones and objectives.
  5. Commission and Test EC&I Systems: Participate in the commissioning, testing, and validation of EC&I systems, ensuring functionality and performance meet operational needs.
  6. Interface with Clients and Stakeholders: Interface with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to facilitate project approvals and compliance.

Requirements

  1. Electrical Engineering Degree or Equivalent Qualifications/Experience
  2. Proven Track Record in Electrical Project Delivery
  3. Experience in the Nuclear Industry or Other Highly Regulated Industry
  4. Appreciation of Mechanical/Civil and Process Systems

Advantageous Experience/Knowledge

  1. Low Voltage Electrical Distribution Design
  2. Building Services & Management System Design
  3. Project Management Skills
