Position Overview

Contek Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to enhance our dynamic team specializing in precision engineering.

Working Hours

This role operates on a day shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday, 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines.
  • Utilizing Siemens control systems effectively.
  • Conducting self-inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Interpreting engineering drawings and 3D models accurately.
  • Applying knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Datum systems.
  • Thriving in a fast-paced subcontracting environment.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A background in engineering, ideally with apprenticeship training.
  • Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery.
  • Strong computer skills.
