About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pharmacist Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team in the Emergency Department at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients with undifferentiated diagnoses and develop treatment plans to optimize care
  • Work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver advanced clinical pharmacy services
  • Provide specialist clinical pharmacy and medicines optimisation services to patients
  • Use your expertise to advise consultants, medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff on pharmaceutical aspects of medicines
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Professional knowledge acquired through a vocational degree in pharmacy
  • Currently registered as a pharmacist in the UK with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Clinical specialist knowledge acquired through postgraduate level training
  • Accredited independent prescriber
