Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Stores Technician to join our dynamic team at Jigsaw Specialist Recruitment. As a Stores Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Goods Inwards Inspection: check deliveries against documentation.
- Ensure correct labelling of parts and maintain accuracy in documentation.
- Raise dispatch notes in a timely manner.
- Conduct stocktaking and maintain stock accuracy.
- Keep storage areas clean, safe, and well-managed to comply with health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Previous experience in storekeeping, dispatch, or warehouse roles.
- Attention to detail and a good communicator.
- IT skills are essential.
- Forklift license (desirable or willingness to obtain).
- Must hold a UK driving licence.
- Please note: Due to the nature of the aerospace industry, successful candidates will be required to obtain security clearance.
