Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Security Officer to join our Security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular building safety, security, and environmental patrols, monitoring CCTV systems, and assisting with bag searches of staff and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular building safety, security, and environmental patrols to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.
- Monitor CCTV systems to detect and assess potential areas of concern, criminality, harm to individuals, or loss to the business.
- Assist with bag searches of staff and contractors leaving the building.
- Ensure that all accidents and incidents are correctly recorded and reported, and that injured persons receive first aid or hospital treatment as required.
- Assist in the routine internal security audit as part of the group security review program.
- Monitor the fire alarm panel and panic alarms, applying appropriate emergency responses in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform door supervisor duties across the F & B outlets within the hotel.
About You
We are looking for a positive and confident individual who can work independently and as part of a team. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to remain calm in pressurised situations. You will also be able to work long hours and be organised and able to prioritise a dynamically changing workload.

We offer a competitive salary, 28 days holiday per annum, including Bank Holidays, increasing with long service. You will also receive complimentary hot meals, salad bar, and unlimited beverages provided daily, as well as a Recommend a Friend Scheme of up to £500 per friend recommended.
Eligibility
In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
